or whatever fits
u dont really need an RC specific wheel wrench
I use the king heads wrench with the hole in the middle for tightening pins

Yep realised that as soon as I posted... I have a socket set I use for working on my actual car  :p

OK so I have me here a couple choices.. with out having my ET48 on a big track yet and most likely not having it on a big track until motorama weekend I need a base for my shocks. Stock 8hole don't feel like there is enough pack.. even on a small track.. that said I have me here kyosho 6x1.3 set and a Red CSI v-port. I know the track tends to get blown out by the end of the weekend, so do I just go w/ the Red and will they perform early on before the track goes to crap and have it really come into it's own for the mains or do I go w/ the kyosho pistons and just find a nice setup. I know there is not a lot of advise out there yet but maybe tekno or a driver can speak up? It seems like the blue CSI v-port are VERY popular for the buggy, the red are very close just need thicker oils and +10wt in the truggy vs buggy. TY

Playing w/ the red v-port now.. stock spring on the front w/ 40wt feels real nice.. yellow spring on the rear w/ 35wt is pretty nice but may need to go up to 37.5. We'll see,, I think I'll leave it as is until I hit the track and play some.

also i didn't note but i run kyosho springs. As I don't like teknos linear springs.

Wow! Those thin black outlines are paint?!! Someone has some seriously steady hands. That paint job looks like a decal, and that's a compliment to the sharpness of the lines an perfectly smooth fades.

I think you're dead on, looks like a Turnigy Trackstar sold by Hobbyking, my guess by the way it ran it's 1900kv. I just looked on HK website, that motor is a major bargain at $58 for a 1/8 sensored motor. Let us know how that works out for you Dan........I love bargains!!

Is the hobbywing 150a better than the MM2? What seems to be the best working esc/motor combo? Apparently a lot of tekin escs seem to be a hit or miss kind of a deal.
