anybody have the link to the main you guys are talking about?

Are you a Bonus Lap Member on LiveRC? That is the only way to see some of the lower mains. If you are a member log in and then go to the Motorama 1/8th Live page. Then click on "Results" then scroll down to Heat 27 Expert 1/8th Truggy and half way down the page that pops up it should load up the video if you are a Bonus Laps member.

Two quick questions guys...

1.) What's the recommended pinion for a 2000KV/4S Setup?

2.) Are you guys finding the steel spur a necessary upgrade?

Thank you,

this why i will go with metal , consider this so your plastic spur will last for a while , but all of sudden goes in the middle of a race , i rather be ready , i had that happen to me in a middle of a practice race with some buds i was leading big time until that happen , so yes metal spur for now on LOL

-Two must have items w this truggy, yellow springs and the metal spur.
-Get with Tekno or snag some eb48.2 replacement diff washers.
-Watch your out drives on front rear, after some practice 3 heats and one main there is viable excessive wear.

Any idea when the kits will be available from the tekno site?

Local hobby shop said they called and are on back order until end of March. A main has them in stock and looks like i may have to go that route.

steel spurs

Steel spurs, yuk! Heavy and noisy! Tekno plastic spurs are awesome, real strong. Keep them adjusted properly and they'll serve you well for a long time, plus lighter running gear should accelerate quicker too.

+1 I had to run one on my losi 8t wouldn't last a race with plastic been running the original spur since I got my et48 and I was one of the first to have the kit

I got steel spurs on my SCT410 and EB48, and my daughter has stock on her SCT410, having run 1/8 e buggy from the early days when we ran the Neu motors and 25C was "high", I had a total of 1 nylon spur pop on me other than the two toasted on my teknos. And they went because I didn't know you needed the steel with a long shank so had two puffs of snow.
