Does anyone know the size of the thrust balls. I currently building the 2014 car and I was like to replace the kit thrust balls for ceramic thrust balls.

I'm not one to mix parts from other brands, but Kyosho part UM702 battery strap fits perfectly and gives space for the battery holes for the plugs for MM. It has to be trimmed, but not as heavily modified as the stock V2 battery strap

Hey guys I think I'm going to go ahead and swap my buggy over to MM. I've never ran a MM buggy so I have to ask... Do you guys have any setup tips? I'm running an 8.5, would gearing likely be close to what I currently use? I'll also be switching to a gear diff since the ball diff is shot until parts come in, what diff fluid are you guys running on a medium to high traction track? Thanks in advance!

Your gearing will not change from RM to MM. As far as build tips, move your esc to directly behind the servo and the battery as far back towards the motor as you can. Depending on how rough or smooth your track is would change shock oil. I currently run 32.5 f and 27.5r with 2 hole 1.6 pistons and kyosho pink front springs and white rear. This setup has seemed to work everywhere from high bite to low bite, but I have also ran 27.5 f 25r with kyosho gold rear springs and liked it as well. As far as the gear diff I just pack it as full as I can with the black grease and you're set. Only advice I can give is when you first drive it don't point and shoot, just carry speed and ease into the throttle and you shouldn't have any trouble

Thank you for the info. I will most likely order from avid bearing since they are local to me.

Do B4.2 front and rear wheels fit this buggy? I'm on the fence with pulling the trigger on this buggy and this might help sway me .

Ok now a caged ceramic thrust bearing is what I would like. I also plan on removing the bearing shields on the internal bearing of the ball diff. I'm basically trying to get this ball diff as close to the schumacher ball diff. The schumie ball diff was hands down the smoothest ball diff I have ever used in 25 years of being in RC. Once again thank you for the help and I will order from TSR, kind of feel guility if I don't since their one of my dealers.

I used the same brace when I was running for Hobby Pro.

My last setup with the car before I moved on was almost exactly like yours but AE white springs all four corners. Buggy was very balanced, and easy to drive very fast.

Yes they work, the offset is slightly different but not a lot. I just put a little locktite on the axles for good measure, but that's what I usually run on mine as they are available at the track. But the AE/kyosho style wheels will do what you need them to.
