Ok rear bed binding is due to the stock plastic ones flexing but u can either place a washer between the wheels and hexes or just buy the aluminum ones.

The hexes aren't the only problem trying to run the AE wheels. There isn't enough thread on the axle to properly tighten the wheel. If you want to run your AE wheels the aluminum hexes are prefered (the clamp style if you can find them instead of the set screw version) and you'll need the longer truck axle to give more thread on the axle.

Hex - http://evohobbies.com/cnc-hardened-a...hexes-4pc.html
Axle - http://evohobbies.com/66410016-new-h...ear-axles.html
Email evohobbies to make sure they are in stock and the hexes are the clamps style.

The wheel will still be a little loose on the axle so be sure the wheel is square on the axle when tightening it down.

The AE can fit on the top shaft but it is very tight. You need to open the center hole just a touch and use the AE pads. Because it is so tight if you just press it on right out of the package you will not set your slipper correctly. If you choose to not modify it, after a few laps the spur will start to clearance itself, but you will need to reset the slipper. Keep monitoring it as you go, you don't want to do this on a race day unless you open up the center hole before putting it on.

That depends on the Hexes you get. PR makes the really narrow/thin ones (Pewter in color) and they will allow you to run the AE wheels just fine. They could use a touch more threads, but usually with any AE wheels, the ends of the axles tend to rest either flush with the outside of the nut or just a hair inside.

I only know because I ordered a set of supposed 14MM hexes for my SB401 and what I received were the exact same thin 12mm hexes that were made for the PRS1. I installed them on my son's PRS1 and he's now able to run all our AE wheels just fine.

Lol been SUPER busy with work. It was my client's dance championship weekend so I was scrambling mad to get all her last minute projects done and printed, and then I attend the event each year and it's a 3.5 hour drive to Orlando. My wife and I turn it into a vacation weekend for the kids. Luckily my twins are now 7 so we didn't have to do Disney again!!!

I really like the all new nuts for the new thicker rear axle stubs, They take a 7mm nut driver instead of the 8mm.. Part # PR83000020

I have a stock ver. 2 PRS1, set up in MM config., that I planning on running on turf. I'm having a little trouble with my setup, specifically, it seems to jump with the nose very low. If anyone has a decent setup for turf it would be appreciated. Any suggestions about the low nose would be appreciated as well.

I will look for my V2 high bit setup for you but man the V3 was designed for turf and would be amazing at your track..

Just got some this weekend, so much nicer to use just a 7mm nut driver for all my cars now.

I've never even raced my v2, got it all built, the track kept changing they're indoor layout, the weeks they raced I was stuck working, then I got sick and couldn't race for a few months, and now, they converted the track to turf. Seeing as my car is still brand new, I'd like to see if I could get it to work.

Hey all, looking for help. Hopefully this forum isn't dead since last post was way back in 2016. Just picked up PSR1 2014 buggy. Looking for the manual. Is there a website to download them at?
