Hi guys,

Had 2 runs with mine now, definitely impressed with the car so far though still working on setup! I am now running the forward Ackerman link, medium PR springs all round, 700 cst gear diff, about 50g near the back and maximum wheelbase..

...has anyone played with wheelbase at all? Was thinking on short tracks a slightly shorter wheelbase may help?

I am still running full size stick pack too, and raised the ride height to around 25mm as my local track has pretty much no flat areas!

One thing is it does feel like there is too much camber change on the front wheel, can't remember how links work, if I lower the inner mount should this help reduce camber change?

I am definitely going to be trying the heavier front and rear suspension pieces!

If you lengthen the camber link, ie move it more inward on the tower and/or further out on the hub, you will reduce camber gain as the suspension compresses

im running the camber link as far up on the tower as possible then into the kingpin on the hub. im using captured links as well for duarbility. i had to swith to a 3x60mm link with traxxas ends to do so...theres pics on the last page.

Has anyone played with standard pistons on high bite tracks?

They don't have enough pack. I went all the way from 35 top 60 wt and was still chassis slapping. Switched to the black Pistons running 35wt, perfect.

I should clear that up. Not the stock pistons, non tapered in any hole configurations. I'm getting blanks made to do testing both tapered and non tapered. I feel non tapered will excell on smooth high bite tracks.
