Just wanted to give a BIG thanks to Jason R/C. Finally got my 3.0 E on the track this weekend, and he gave me setup tips that got this buggy doing want I wanted. The 3.0E is an excellent buggy. So easy to put this buggy where you want it. I was surprised how well it responded to each setup change. The T8i Tekin system is a perfect match, IMO. Flawless. A Thanks also to Casper and Ryan for your tips as well.

So ive been looking at esc's for this thing and I am a Orion guy now but IDK about the R8/HW esc. I saw a lot going towards the Gen2 rx8 but also heard there might be a new Orion esc soon for 1/8 buggies?
Also, I am a Trinity fan and have your guys seen or used the D8's in this 3.0? thanks

Hi Guys...new 8ight 3.0 owner here. I have a Savox 1257 in my parts box. Will this work on the 3.0?

I also have a aluminum servo arm that fits it. Is it ok to use that servo arm along with a servo saver?
Thanks

I ran that servo and the 1267 in my 3.0 ill be honest they are slow for an ebuggy. But thats my opinion. It will work yes. I'd take a look at some high voltage servos though. Night and day differences.

Seems the 1257 I have and the 1267 you have are not that far apart as far as the stats show....

This is the one a friend told me to install...

May take it back if the 1257 will work.
