HotBodies premounts work fine for me, as do Panther, Losi 2.0 and TLR 3.0 wheels.

For indoor running with the Tekin T8i I am running dual shorty packs Venom 3800mah 60C. I can run 10 min mains no problem.

If you are running outdoors or longer mains go with a more traditonal setup.

I'm running 65c 6500mah 4s and get about 20-23 minutes with Gen 2 RX8 and 1900kv with 1268 Savox.

Hey guys. Quick question, the track I'm gunna run my buggy at is limiting the class to 2s. Could it be done with like a tenshock motor ( kv???) and a large 2s pack. Right now I have a Tekin g2 with the 1900 on 4s and it's great. Any info would be great! Thanks and yes I am trying to avoid completely buying a scte and converting that.....

I have yet to understand why people do this. 2s Battery limits on a 7+ pound vehicle is one of the dumbest things ever thought of.

Must be a small indoor track? We're not even allowed to run 1/8th at our indoor track with any battery. To many have been injured marshaling. Mainly speaking of a fella that got 5 staples in his head due to an 1/8th scale. We are trying to get an SC conversion 1/8th started though?

At any rate add me to the E, 3.0 club. Just picked it up today. Any tips?

So is it do-able or no? Yeah a smaller indoor track for the most part. But not too small and I agree this is not what I want to do, it's just I want to race and it's the only way they will let us (4pole motor on 2s).

If you can get your hands on a 5200 Tenshock it may be do able? I'm think go with as big a spur as possible to start with. Or if you can find out from the fellas already running that set up? Start a thread. Gearing will be critical. Or an SCTE 2.0 Mip conversion and your set...

For battery suggestions I run Hyperion 5000mah 25c soft packs with a 1900kv motor. They are top quality cells and weigh less than a traditional hard case pack.

On the 2s question, a track in IL does this in the winter time. When I was there I saw a whole lot of Castle 2200kv truggy motors in e-buggy that were geared to the moon. See the RJD thread in the IL state forum. You'll probably get some good answers there.
