When your shocks are not going up when on the car.....what is that? See video. Front work great but my rear I push down and does not go back up. Posted here since I also have had this issue on my B4.2 but can't remember what I did.

binding most likely. take the shocks off and compress them. also check the arm for binding.

Washers are not grooved. It is easier to build a diff with the thrust caged and AVID offers 3 different ball hardness levels depending on the experience of the person building and the smoothness desired. While some stuff may be more bling, AVID definitely produces parts that are a very good upgrade to the stock components.

The avid thrusts are grooved just like casper's. I JUST built a diff with the ceramic one.

Tungsten Carbide ball, this is what we recommend for most racers, the balls are more true than steel balls and slightly harder but still have a few imperfections which allows the ball to grab the the surface of the grooved rings easily

Anyway, after a few weeks of tuning with the centered electronics, I settled on the shelf. The traction and agility seemed to be in a good balance for my local tracks. It was slightly easier to get off balance in the air, but was also easily correctable. I hit a jump bad once and was on my side in the air, and was able to pull it back and land on all 4 wheels. Not something I practice, but was not hard. The bug was definitely mire stable with the standard mounted electronics, but i liked the transition steering with the inline.
