i think ABS is a bit like PWM controlled braking/accelerating with the intensity of ABS depending on how fast you move the throttle. Punch-control on the esc also works like PWM ABS

well, yeah you can always "say" just use your finger. My throttle finger is fine, but its retarded on the brake side. And on lower bite a light tap will spin you out. So in the past, I just set my drag brake for the surface and just off power with drag break in the corners. ABS on the rc does not have feedback. it has pulses that you can adjust the intervals, strength and engage points on. I have played with my epa's and I am not convinced they dont mess up other things. I have also been using the expo on the break side also. And it is ok. Many people dont use some of the advanced radio features and granted some are designed for nitro. For instance many of the better esc's have both punch control and expo. They both limit the power you put down, but in different ways. Some just use punch control and others just use expo and some use a combination.

if i get these it will be for my kid. A little extra flex is fine and we race out doors. So stiffer is not always better for us. I am concerned about the binding. On my kids sc10, if you life the arm with the shock off, it stays up. I have tried to file it down, but it was not good. I didnt have a a-arm hinge pin reamer, so maybe thats the ticket.

I snapped 2 chassis right off, but in front of the servo. Both were caused by direct hits, so nothing to complain about. This looks like bad processing during the injection moulding.

Our B4 front A-arms are designed to withstand some serious abuse! We’ve redesigned the entire front end, replacing the stock front bulkhead with a version that helps spread impact forces over a larger area at the inner hinge pin mounts. RPM front A-arms are wider at the inner hinge pin by nearly 3/16” without altering suspension geometry. We also focused on the hinge pin retaining system used on the stock A-arms. yeah, the sc10 required the rpm bulkhead too. She would probably just start breaking the caster blocks and hubs next, lol. Although that never really happened much on the sc10, maybe the extra arm flex helps. I will stick with the stock arms, but for her they would be good.

Actually, the location of these fractures suggests hard landings on the chassis towards the front of the battery tray. Land on the chassis enough times at speed and you slowly stress the ribs until the can't handle it anymore and the result are these types of stress fractures.

does not really mater, AE stepped up and is sending him a new chassis. AE has stepped up every time I had an issue. They even replaced my exploded reedy sonic rotor for free even though i was past the warranty period. Didn't even charge me the shipping to get the new rotor here. The only issues I have with AE are mostly likely TT's fault. I just hope TT does not kill AE.
