If you run a short ball stud it should bring you down to C height.

Yes? A part number maybe?

It's time to tap my hubs (slopped out so freakin bad) with a set screw but the tools will cost me 40$ soooo..
Might just buy new hubs pins and a stud for the same price.

Don't like red so don't suggest it. Haha

Just borrow from Scott's his tap . Candrel has one too ...

Must be nice, in south FL on the red clay tracks we pickup this micro fine dust that seems to suck right into the rear shocks. I HAVE to change oil every 2 weeks minimum. :weird:

True story ^^^

Bottom cap of shock gets very dirty and oil turns orange if you wait to long to rebuild.

Yes, because the dust gets on the shaft of the shock, and is then pushed up into the cylinder and the dust gets pulled off by the oil lol, and then u have orange oil lol happened to me before at one of the large 1/8 tracks near me that is outside and dusty as all get out!!

Hideeho
Due to havings bb springs before bb shock & buying a used b44, I have a mixture of AE shocks & springs & Losi shocks & springs. On the b4 I have AE shocks w/ Losi springs & on the b44 I have Losi shocks w/ AE springs. I have found I prefer the Losi springs (very tight fit & a bitch to adjust on AE shocks) because they seem to compress straighter, they don't bend in the middle when compressed. For shocks, I like both & have had no problems with either, once I learned how to build the Losi shocks. The trick to getting Losi shocks to not leak? AE parts! No, seriously... I'm using Losi Bodies, caps (top & bottom), shafts, & shaft guides. I'm using AE rubber seals (top-v2, bottom-bb, & inner-bb), pistons, & shock ends. I don't have any problems with leaking in either set of shocks, but I'd say the Losi/AE shocks last longer (a few days at least) between rebuilds than the straight AE.

Lame. No cab forward style body.

Yes that is so true. You have to dedicate a day to really wrench and keep the buggy clean or you will pay for it. :tire:

Hing pin Diameter

Does anyone know the exact diameter of a new hinge pin? I might mine out at 2.77 mm But I'm thinking my Caliper might be off by a few mm. Thanks

Where did you find that shot? Are those for real? If so, that's going to throw weight balances WAY off. I wonder if ROAR will adjust its rules or if people are going to start adding tons of lead to their vehicles.
