Due to havings bb springs before bb shock & buying a used b44, I have a mixture of AE shocks & springs & Losi shocks & springs. On the b4 I have AE shocks w/ Losi springs & on the b44 I have Losi shocks w/ AE springs. I have found I prefer the Losi springs (very tight fit & a bitch to adjust on AE shocks) because they seem to compress straighter, they don't bend in the middle when compressed. For shocks, I like both & have had no problems with either, once I learned how to build the Losi shocks. The trick to getting Losi shocks to not leak? AE parts! No, seriously... I'm using Losi Bodies, caps (top & bottom), shafts, & shaft guides. I'm using AE rubber seals (top-v2, bottom-bb, & inner-bb), pistons, & shock ends. I don't have any problems with leaking in either set of shocks, but I'd say the Losi/AE shocks last longer (a few days at least) between rebuilds than the straight AE. |

Hing pin Diameter
Does anyone know the exact diameter of a new hinge pin? I might mine out at 2.77 mm But I'm thinking my Caliper might be off by a few mm. Thanks
