i also put ock tight on the threads each time i remove it for about 4-5 times, then it builds up a layer on there and it will hold the nut on no prob

For those who insist on using a VTS slipper ....

A performance Tip:
More important to add the extra pad & go QUAD. Allows even finer adjustment & stays more consistent then the 3 pads alone....

Our experience at our track with big jumps and short take-offs that require oodles of punch is that the VTS holds up dramatically better than the avid. Even some of the avid sponsored guys run the VTS here because the triad has simply melted down on them in short order. That was our experience with it. Most run with the standard 3 pad vts setup as well. It's not insistence as much as experience and longevity.

curious as to how you guys set the VTS. I usually run my slipper so the front wheels barely pull off the bench when I do my bench test. Are you guys finding that you like running the VTS tighter?

AMain originally had the 4.2 arriving today (1/23) but is still showing as "pre-order". Does anyone have any insight as to when exact availability will be? Or shall I assume within the coming weeks and be patient?

I guess I'll be patient

So I have been running the BB shocks for a few weeks now. I was hesitant to buy them because I thought they might be useless. They in no way made my laps faster and thus far ,my lap times are more inconsistent than ever. But I think that is due to the fact I need to retune my car, as it is completely different. Overall I give the shocks an A+ so far. No leaking, no air inside and the buggy is sooooo plush. Like driving on pillows. Now I just need to get the added steering under control and it will be like butta.

For you B4'ers, go 49'ers,

serious note, all my shocks on our cars where a little loose about 1mm on the upper mount. I ended up using a 1mm spacer and a nylon nut to tighten up instead of the stock black plastic nut that turned and didn't tighten and this got them tight on the top. Is this right, they should be tight not wiggle, wiggle?

The caps should wiggle a little bit. If they are too tight then it will bind and not function correctly.
