I use the 1mm on both sides of the hub. Eliminates the slop quite a bit.

Just wanted to share something I learned this weekend. And please accept my apologies if this is something everyone already knows.

The track this weekend was low grip: hard, dry and dusty. With no tire change, I changed to a C tower from the A tower. Didn't work. The car was loose entering and exiting corners. I was quite surprised how much it loosened the car up.

I didn't get a chance to change back over the the A tower, but I will before the next race.

I run on a lower bite track and the c hubs definitely loosen it up. I think it is because they keep the rear end flatter. On higher bite tracks keeping the rear flatter can give more traction and help prevent traction rolls. The c-hubs are not magical. They are for tuning. That is why I got the avid A/C hubs, so i can easily change it and see if I like it for a given track.

Anyone have any feedback for the 3x1.4mm tappered pistons? Comparing to 1.6 pistons with 30wt oil front and rear

Maybe this will solve our problems regarding rear shocks getting knicked up:

LOL, that video I posted had me running C's with no washers on shaved brace....That was always my go to setup for inside and I didn't change my car.

I think I'm going to start from scratch setup wise and throw the 4.2 kit setup on and then just play with tires.

Any vid of Gunnar's car in the main? Was he having the same issues?

Next time I feel like taking a (3+ hour) ride, I'll come down. I'd probably start with my indoor setup and holeshots, or double dees. Maximize weight transfer to the rear (Green springs out back), and work on taming the front. C-hub/shaved brace vs. A/B-hub/Unshaved comes down to a preference thing IMO. If you like to go in to a corner hot, and come out hotter, c-hub.

they must have specifically designed those for the BB shocks. Why else offset the adjuster.

green & green most universal , med grip likes a white rear & green front, med high traction likes white & white ...

So far, I am liking the greens up front unless traction is really low. They really calm the buggy down. I run green or whites in the rear depending on traction. I never run "high" bite, so going stiffer has not been required.

I never liked the A before but I only have run this car inside so I guess I can try it.

No video of Gunnar but looked good. He always does. Don't get me wrong, my car was very good. It was just loose. Everyone was, even Francis and Gunnar. They can just wheel it better. That was combination of green track / tires. Anything you saw the car doing was more than likely me.

I was running
37.5 1.7 3 limiters black springs with 1mm washer green rips
35 1.7 2 limiters white springs with C tower, shaved brace, no washers
I'm not settled on tires yet just because we had so few laps. M3 Holeshots were decent, as were Green Hybrids. SS Impacts were ok, but I tried them in the morning when the track was still wet. I'll try them again this weekend to see if they are better.
