Maybe this guy has never used the setscrew and has never had a problem, maybe one day he will...maybe he wont. It doesnt matter, its not your car...it's his. So quit bickering about it.

+1. Thank you Matt

I've wanted to bring one over and try it out, mid motor was working at our track a few weeks ago, I'd be interested to give a C4.1 a shot.

Why do you think that?

I guess so. Try fully compressing your suspension on either the right or left rear and turn the wheel. Thats where I found it would bind. I know that does'nt happen very often but why take a chance?

Keep the momentum moving, I was thinking.

Still rubs, mine is setup using the spacers and it still rubs. Several weeks it did not but it does now. I am guessing after break in there is a little more slop now. Like the car but this issue is frustrating when one spends the money we do it should not rub. poor design, the car is simply not designed for 12mm shock bodies on the back.
I know we have run this topic into the ground, but anyone else rubbing now?

Mid motor works, and works well when the conditions are right. I ran a Cougar SV at one point and it was really good when traction was up and there weren't monster jumps. I had to run the rear end very soft to get the power to the ground. I've been thinking about giving Xfactory a go now that I have a spare car laying around.
