My b4 was dialed this last weekend. Hopefully it was not luck and will be good again, but I cant seriously think any buggy will driver better for me. But, here is the funny part, I didnt actually know what the b4 was needing until a owned another car. The trick was keeping everything the b4 offered and fixing my setup to match something another brand did on the track. Now I love the b4 more than ever.

What is the advange of running a shorty battery. I have done the "cav" mod with the esc in the middle with a trimmed T brace and am currently running a full pack but all the pros I see at my track are running shortys? What is the advantage to using a shorty?

I just noticed that Amain is not carrying the new Avid shock bushings. What size are you guys running front and rear? preferably with the new AE towers. The reason I say that, is soon we wil lall be using the new towers and I dont want to purchase twice. I am summing the "standard" set is what I need, but i wanted to ask before i order. I do not run any washers on the rear bottoms right now and do not plan to in the future.

If you have a regular front tower (4 or 4.1) and are ok with shaving it for the spring collar then you would use the +.030. If you have the older rear tower that isnt shaved and dont want to shave it then the +.090 are the ones you want. And you can use the +.090 on the front with no modificaions to the older 4.1 front tower. |

I am currently using ground towers and the plastic spacers and shimmed to fit. But the plastic is getting worn and these look nicer, lol. Lol, wont make me faster, but they look nice and that is all that matters, lol.

Is the gearing for the 4.2 the same as the wc4.1? I am referencing the gearing chart on the wc4.1 page. Anticipating a 4.2 being delivered tomorrow so I want to make sure I have all the parts ready to complete the build. Any essential upgrades that this kit needs?
Thanks! |

Wildcat what are you running for tires?
I just got my new rear shock tower for the B4.2 with the precut molding, got it at Amain, they have them if you need. Put it in my back up parts bin. |
Nice. I run holeshot 2.0 m3 and groovy green fronts
