Sorry to break up this convo but, is anyone out there running a savox 1251 with the aluminum steering stuff or are they switching to the old servo saver?

What is your question?
My buggy is in hog territory pushing 1620g so, I'm trying to shave some weight wherever possible. I'm using a chassis and body wrap so, that's why mine is so heavy. I might take the chassis wrap off too though. |
Does anyone else have a large difference between L-R rear ride height with spring collars at same level? To get my rear level I have about 3 or 4mm difference in spring collar position...?

*check if internal shock limiter's (.030 spacer) count is correct . |
Just wondered if someone could give me the shock lengths (shock cap to shock shaft eyelet) on the 4.2 shocks?

Same here I run a 1258 Savox in my T4 and a 1257 in my B4, both with the AVID aluminum steering with NO steering saver. This is pretty exactly the same setup our entire track uses with no issues.

check to make sure you have the correct and same spring cups on and they are on the right direction.

Guys, are the 9873 C hub tower meant to work with the 4.2?
I see that the hub towers are changed for the big bores. There are new A and B towers but not a new C tower. |

well for the first time since getting big bore shocks, I have my buggy dialed. Only took 2 months, lol. After I bought a 22 4 weeks ago, I saw in the 22 what I wanted from my b4. basically I wanted more steering from the rear. so, I tweaked a few things and ended up at AE's suggested shock package with 30/27.5 oils, lol. I changed to holeshot m3's in the rear because they allowed more rear steering than the 3d's or dd's. I lower the front ball stud to 1mm washer, switched to c hubs in the rear with no washers and a NON shaved brace. My shock positions and camber links are in the usually places we most all use. Also, I ran my shorty all the way back. with 28 grams in a foam in front of the shorty. The weight was mount under the foam, thus lower cg. I have been playing a lot with shorty positions and weighted foams. The shorty by its self was never right and the full pack felt heavy, but I really like playing with weighted foam and moving it around. Something to try if you get bored. basically the same idea at the Orion wts packs.

What things can I do to get more onpower steering? Thanks
