Check out the B4.2 from Razathorn. In one word DIALED. I love this setup and so easy to drive fast. Car is flat out planted and I find myself able to stay on power A LOT more through turns. If you need a little more traction, you can try dropping to black rear springs.

If you need more traction, go to green fronts and 32.5 oil. Black rears will make the car exit corners far slower, where as green fronts make the car just keep more weight toward the rear on corner entry and decel.

Thanks. I will have to try that. New to the setups so just going with what "feels" best to me but will definitely take your word for it and try it out. Thank you for the explanation as well.

From what I know they will be available to the public VERY soon along with the AWESOME Fin Style Turnbuckles which are great eye candy:)
I only know of them being in black but I will try and find out if any other colors will be coming out...
I got the turnbuckles Friday and should have the ballcups soon;)

On your sheet you list A Rear Hub Tower. Are you using inside middle hole or outside middle hole?

Just letting you know, before changing your complete setup...Razathorn races at a very different style indoor track. While his setup is known to be dialed at fastlane, i wouldnt recommend it at most tracks. Ive said it a million times....TEST YOUR OWN. Every track is different. You will learn a lot more, believe me:nod:

Funny, me and wayne must be on the same wave lengths because my setup is nearly identical except I run the battery 1/2 pad further back with long wheelbase.

Yeah I ended up pretty close to it as well but with an extra washer on th rear inner camber link and the front link is in on the tower. Unreal how hard you can drive it in and out of a turn. I even try to whip it in and it just sticks. I wish I could get my Sc10 to drive like this:lol:. I've tried everything with that truck.

Yep I get it. My setup was just close to his I was only curious. I have tuned this buggy on my own by trial and error. It's running real good I aint changing a thing right now.

LOL, that took me a second to comprehend, then I remembered that the As everyone else runs has a 4th hole. That 4th hole is on the outside, so when I list middle hole, that's the "inside middle". I should probably change to a 4.2 setup sheet.

I've always felt that suburbs and bar codes were basically equals. I can pretty much run suburbs or bar codes and they both do about the same. Perhaps the story is different on clay.

Wild Cherry 02-25-2013 10:23 PM

At Trcr the suburbs perform well when the track is brand new & fresh
The ION's are whole different story ...
