My educated guess would be that he's running all Tekno.

Just more support for the pinion with a bigger bearing. I haven't had an issue with mine but nice to know there's un upgrade if I need it.

Yes the megabites are awesome on hard packed clay tracks.... Here in Houston at Mikes, they are awesome...... If it gets too dusty, then I switch to gridirons.

Getting ready to start building my kit finally and wondering if the new big bearing rear diff case is a d direct drop in? Any info greatly appreciated. I see that it is angled for better driveshaft pin wear. I know I will need the bigger bearing(s) but is there any mods needed?

Well yesterday was the second time I got to race the SCT410 and wewh, each week I'm getting better.. I finally dropped in times from my typical 45sec average to about a 39 and my fast laps from being a 40 to a 34sec! I can only get better lol.. I would have taken 3rd in the Main but due to a solder issue I didn't finish the race.. Anyway I had a few questions for the group..
1st... How often do you guys break out the diffs and drain and refill your fluids? Also in regards to fluid how often do you drain and refill your shocks?
2nd... I would like to clear the triple section at our track.. Only one guy in the 4x4 has done it.. I know I have the power (4300kv Pro4HD RX8Gen2) I'm running a 15T pinion, so what adjustments would you make on the ESC or Radio?

Oh yeah, Picture time!!

I do diff and shock rebuilds about every 4-6wks, since that's usually when track rebuilds are done in our area. Shocks maybe fine tune here and there, but do a complete once thru like stated.

By thew way....Austin is in the A/main at the Nats. The Tekno`s are looking pretty good.

Danny it was nice to meet you in person and I enjoyed talking with you.

Very good update, I'm on my third set of rear pinion bearing on my EB-48, the SCT410 is fine but I will upgrade both:nod:

Hey fellas,
Finally got all my esc problems squared away...thank god!

Anyway I got a problem with traction rolling on our banked turn and hairpin turn...tried a few things with camber and droop and still having troubles. I was gonna try putting the rear and center brace back in.

Any thoughts?

Well solved the traction roll issue...lower droop...went from 102/120 down to 100/118...planted awesome.

Good day today. Got spun at the start and had to work through the field to take second. Finished about 80ft behind the winner. I was coming on hard!! Just ran out of time:flaming:

I have only been into RC for about 6 months, started out with a Slash 4x4 like most people just playing around on the track on practice days, never good enough to race(atleast I thought) but then I got into reading forums and magazines and learned I was driving a Chevy, although reliable not fast, when I needed a Porsche to race and 4 months in I bought a Tekno SCT410 and been tuning a practicing with it for a month. I raced for the first time ever yesterday and took 3rd out of 12 in all qualifiers, 2nd AMain-1 and 3rd AMain-2. Either I'm just an awesome driver and didnt have the stones to race or the SCT410 is just plain legit, I'm going with the latter...

Still waiting on my EB48 I ordered a month ago, I'm betting its just as good on the track.
