what about the blue csi pistons??? I'm trying a set this weekend in buggy first.

Not sure about those. I have the gen 1 CSI blacks in our Mugen buggy--had to run 70wt oils to make them work (per their recommendations).
I don't like having to venture so far out of the norm (high wt shock oils) to find a sweet spot. CSI makes good stuff but I've found 1.3x8 Teknos and Fioroni's to work very well with more std weight shock oils.

I run the new CSI blue V-ports for the Kyosho with Losi oil 27.5 front and 22.5 rear. Tekno green front and tekno orange rear and it works well. I started with 25 f and 20 rear it was good but a little soft. I with up to 30 f and 25r and it was to stiff. I will consider 25 and 20 when the temps start to drop.

Hey guys I called Tekin and they said with a Pro4 4600kv and RX8 you have to run a 50c or higher battery or it will puff. They also said it doesn't matter what brand. So I'll be ordering a SMC 6500 70c 2s LiPo!

I run Hobby People 5000 35c batteries on my RX8 and 4600kv and they do a pretty good job. Haven't puffed one yet. Don't judge me, I pretty much get them for free. LOL. I would like to upgrade to a 6500 or higher for longer run times though.

Yikes! C ratings are pretty much just marketing anyway. that battery, based on it's rating should be able to do 175 amps, then a 6000mah 70c battery of another brand supposedly able to do 420amps may puff.

Put the 8x1.3's in and your problem will be solved. ;)

Should I stay with the same springs and oil? Green 37.5wt front / Red 32.5wt rear

Dont put off those Hobby People Batteries. I have two of the 5000 35C ones I picked up several years ago that STILL hold a perfect charge and peak out at 4.2 a cell every time. I use them for practice and even a few races in my T4.2 last week with great success. Its like they are the never ending packs. Ive had several big names ones go and these just keep on chucking!

Yes-that setup is the ticket (SRAMOS setup). Oh, and 25 ride height f/r for anything but 1/8 scale tracks with super big jumps--then maybe run the ride height up to 26 ish.
Then report back!!! ;)

Just looking at the chart on the first page I would go ahead and guess gray gray 8x1.3 pistons and 37.5 32.5. That should be a good starting point at least.
