Here ya go, idk why its doing that. I had a couple other ppl say the same thing, but some have no problem. I would recommend a yellow spring up front. Some other tweaks I have made that I've changed is emulsion build, 35 fr 27 1/2 rr, 2 shock shaft orings, 2.2 fr sway bar 2.3 rr sway bar, its not as forgiving but is definitely faster. I came to a point where I could drive faster then the set up would allow so it was time to tweak. I would run the set up on the sheet first with a fr yellow spring and see how you like it. Oh, and brake strength at 50% and current limit at 35 %

Got my tekno to the track yesterday and its a badass truck, my rear end was all over the place so I got help from a great driver at my track before the main, did the main and it was still all over the place but it did feel better, was running aka handlebars in clay compound, gonna ditch the clay compounds from now on and try supersoft barcodes next weekend

Just ordered one..... Can't wait! Kinda wish it would put itself together though lol

Yeah, just got done with my eb48 kit, not bad but my hands are still sore lol. I like to put it together by hand vs power tools the first time

You're telling me haha, my first 2 kits were done with the allen keys before I decided to order some MIP drivers, those mini power drills make it look easy, I'm going to have to get 1

Medina RC Raceway-- Tekno 1st Race
The first race is in the books. Went to Medina Raceway in Medina, OH this Saturday. Chopped up track, big jump into an instant left hand turn and a larger woop section (four woops) that kept everyone slow.
1st time out competitively in twenty years. Ended up fifth out of sixteen SC drivers. Very pleased with the result. I know I was fast enough to be third however in both Mains I was taken out by an old hack. Pissed me off, but that's racing. The number one issue I had difficulty with was off power nose dives. The truck would always end on its lid. Cost me major positions. I'd like to blame the car however it's mainly driver. My next post will be about the difference in the way I drive vs. the way a friend showed me. Overall the Tekno was excellent. I've got the truck set up with a little push. My friend drove it later and was calling it "predictable push." I'd agree with him. It's just and I've been hoping. |
