 Again people, you can adjust your posts per page. For me, we're still on page 200's ;) Referencing pages is pointless as it varies per user. Posts however, do not. There is a post number in the right upper of each post. If you click on it, the link pulls up directly to that one.

SRAMOS: do you ever adjust your droop numbers based on track conditions (high bite/low bite) or are your stated droop numbers pretty much always kept the same regardless of traction?? Also, have you ever tried going any lower on the front to 98 or 96 to maximize on-power steering??
Thx!

i keep it the same everywhere i go. havent touched it in a couple months. i have checked it once or twice due to the droop screw digging into the chassis and throwing it off a bit. i just try to keep them equal, if they look off i will check. and i wouldnt want to go any lower number as i feel i am at the maximum low droop i can go (for me) due to how i layed down my shocks on tower one hole fr and rear

minus the tires of course :) thats the variable that makes a setup work. tires are 80% of your setup if not more :)

I am looking to pick up some packs for 4x4. How much mah are you guys using with the HW4000 in 8 minutes? We run 8 minute mains.

snwchris 06-18-2013 01:26 PM

Your going to want something that is atleast 6200 or better, alot of people lately running 7200 packs in our area when it comes to mains.

boudin4evr 06-18-2013 01:28 PM

to be safe, most are running 7200mah SMC packs

justinco 06-18-2013 01:38 PM

I run 5600mah packs for 6 minutes mains. Not sure they would make 8 mins so go with what the other guys said hehe.

they were out of the 7200's so I picked up the 7200 reduced mah packs. He said they are like 6900-7000mah.

I run the same motor. Indoor high bite I put around 4000 4400 mah back in my packs. Outdoor usually around 3300 to 3500. I'm running smc 7200 you can't go wrong with this pack I have around 30 cycles threw them and they still take a full 7200 or more if I run them down to lvc at 3.2v.
