Pm me the details on the d-bag...

I'll probably use the 1410 at first or might spring for the new hobbywing 4oookv 4 pole. The 1410 should have no problems w/ this truck. It's one of the best motors out, IMO, sensored or not. I've been running them since they came out...

I'm contemplating cutting their ridiculous $300 price in half by running a 150 amp hobbywing esc and turnigy 2100 sensored motor.

i have been running the hobbywing 4700 in my eb48 and it's plenty fast and temps good. I run it unsensored because I like the way the power comes on better than sensored. It has a much longer rotor than the Tekin 4600

I love 4x4 SC. It's the only class where you can take a big 1/8 scale-derived vehicle like the Tekno, max out the power, and lay it down on a 1/10 scale indoor track. I feel it's the most fun out of all the classes, and I can't wait till I get my Tekno!!!!

I feel the SCT410 will draw a lot more people to the class who were kept or driven away by the current vehicles and their problems. I think it will fill the gap the SCTE promised but couldn't deliver without so many modifications that you have to be rich to run it. I feel it will also give the associated folks a chance to run something that isn't so weird and maintenance-intensive.

My local track already said they are ordering some SCT410's for sale and will stock parts for them. I was talking to a guy last night at the track who is buying one as well.

I think you're right on. I had an SCTE and it was killing me $$ wise. And a Slash 4x4 upgraded to the max before that...even worse to make it competitive. Our local outdoor track is a riot but pretty hard on the existing trucks (especially if you're a hack like me). One guy I know got the EB48 buggy, and I'm really impressed with the design and durability...fingers crossed on the SCT410.

I'm probably going to run the same motor in this truck next season.

I loved my scte after i did over $350 in upgrades, and i ended up selling right when they got their diffs fixed. You really do have to have some cash to get the scte where it needs to be, after that and the updated diff cases, it's damn near perfect. Still the tekno has all the upgrades i could see my self doing to it, right out of the box.

Yea, seriously! I saw an SCTE at the track that was mostly aftermarket parts and none of them looked cheap. I think the only thing left from the stock losi kit was the diff cases!

What are U going to run?

I'm trying to decide what motor I'm going use, like most I have a ton of options in my parts box. I heard Tekin might be coming out with a new motor, any thoughts on that and what kind of a motor you are going to use. I sure wish this wasn't 2s racing, how boring. Now 3s would give a guy a lot more options. If it was 3s I'd be running either a Castle 2400 or 2650, I think I can use 3s on our jumbo outdoor track this summer since we have rather loose rules. But indoors I think I'll pull the Tekin pro 4 4600kv motor out of my SCTE. So what are U guys planning on running????

Pro 4 4600 or a 4000

I plan to either run one of the new Tekin Pro4 HD's once they ship, or keep running my TenShock SC411 5200kv.
