We have a cross over into a corkscrew then back over another double.

I'm diffing out like crazy and the losi's are maintaining a much faster corner speed than me in the corkscrew.

- I'm running Barry Baker's indoor setup (posted on Tekno)

Any quick first thoughts?

hmmm, maybe limit some droop so the wheels won't pick up and diff out. i was going to say thicker diff oil but he's already running 7-10-5. its a quick tune to try

I thought this too, did so: and began lifting the tire off the ground even more pronounced.

I didnt have a lot of issues with nose dives other than the first night out with the truck. I adapted my driving to fox it, but now I can be much looser on the throttle off the jumps. I plan to take a full day and hit the track to practice with springs and oil weights here soon.

Another thing I would like to try are the Fironi pistons. I hear they are real nice, but not cheap.
I ran red tekno rears for the first heat tonight. I then Adjusted my ride height to what i had previously. The truck ran awesome and what do ya know, no more nose diving!
I felt like it would be too stiff and throw my handling comlpletely off, but to my surprise, it handled the same as when i had stock springs, minus the nose diving. On an outdoor loose 8th scale track, tekno red rears worked very well. All i need is more power!

Driving them both back to back, i gotta say, they really don't drive anything like eachother. The buggy feels nimble, sensitive, and has tons of steering. The truck feels very stable, easy to drive and is very forgiving. The buggy makes you a better driver as it demands you to drive smooth or it will get upset if you overdrive it. You can be a lot more aggressive with the truck and it makes you feel like a better driver. I'd say the buggy needs more attention and precision to drive. I really like both. I'm pretty sure the buggy isn't set up wrong, i think it's just the handling of the class itself and a few drivers at my track confirmed this. They agreed that e-buggy is a smooth drivers class. You can't drive the buggy like a fool and expect it to work.

If you are looking for a shock tool I found an ASC89358 16 mm shock tool at an online store and it works well and was less than 5 bucks. I only found it at one place (RC Planet) I guess it is either an old or very new part.

What's a good way to get more on power steering? I'm running the stock setup in the front except for losi red Springs. I've been running on some real tight turned tracks and the truck wants to push on power. Off power it's great. But I lose Alot of time coasting.

I'm running losi green Springs in the rear. I just moved the bottom of the shock to the outer upper hole. That helped with the rear diffing out around the oval part of the track and with nose diving.

Lay the front shocks down, move Ackerman forward, bigger rear sway bar, hubs back. Any oner of those will give more on power steering.

Whats the battery mod? What tekno springs your running in front?? i'm at yellow all around was thinking going to red in rear but then read your post !!! Oh seen in your sig hows that tekin 4300 vs 4600 any more top speed??

Has anyone tried the xray progressive springs? They might be a good compromise between keeping the shspention soft for the bumpy parts of a track while going up in rate to keep the chassis from slapping off of the face of a jump. Also, if you are running something like a de plate under the rear the chassis will be easier to slap on a jump. I would lime to try the xray progressive spring just do not know which ones to try ie one line, two line or three. I do not know what the rates are and their website only has the rates listed for a few of them.

I thought the same thing you did. I had two pair of the Xray progressives, one stripe(the softest) and two stripe(soft to medium).I tried them with soft fr med rr, and med fr soft rr. They seamed way too stiff for me. They might have been ok if I had bought another set of soft and ran them on all four corners. I switched to Tekno springs instead.

Where are your shock locations? Suby is running the xray springs and loves them. Lay the shocks down on the tower and they will feel softer.
