anyone hear if they are planning to offer an aluminum shock cap that has the diff options (vented, emulsion, etc) as an option?

yeah, I figured for the price of buying new plastic caps, may be better to just go alloy.

Why not use the eb48 alum. Shock caps?

Race Report
Race Report:
Saturday was a great day for racing here on the East Coast. Awesome Raceway in Warrenton Va. held their 5th annual Virginia State Championship Off-road race where attendance was high as usual. My Tekno SCT410 was fast as always and I ended up with the TQ in Short Course Mod. 4wd and finished 2nd behind Brian Miz. Both of our trucks were powered by HobbyWing. Brian's truck was handling the jumps better than mine but my truck was really great on the fast sweepers on and off of the straight and around the tighter turns. I want to take this time to thank all my sponsors for their support all year, Tekno Hobbywing North America Falcon Sekido Vpprousa Racing Radiopost RC Caster Racing I could not do this without them........... Well just to report back about the diff fluid change I made. I switched from stock 3k in the rear to 5k. So that's 5/7/5 and wow what a difference. I was running 37.5-38 second lap times last week with stock diff fluids. And now this week with that change, +1 hexes and moving rear shocks in to 1 from outside I was running 35-36 second laps and the rear end felt so much more planted. I TQ and unfortunately DNF the A main due to my screw on the servo arm backing out!!!!! O well, I happy now that I have the rear end planted. Just to mention, my track is medium bite dust cover and bumpy.

@Chuck
The spot on the side mudguards, right near the ESC tray, was designed for mounting switches. I have been using red 3M double sided tape, just like I do for everything else, and never had it come off. I've done this on both of my EB48's as well as my SCT410. I'll try to get a shot off my SCT410 electronics layout up soon for everybody to see. I love it, but folks who had to mod the battery tray probably won't like it, as even more weight is further forward. |

Please pardon the dirt and motor wiring. I've been testing a few motors recently.
Here's my layout, with the switch as mentioned. In this layout I cut the switch, but I put it in the same spot, uncut, with the more traditional layouts. |

I kind of like how the rx is up front, how did you hide excess wire
Note: This layout doesn't work with large RXs nor with full length 550 can motors like the Pro4 HD or TenShock SC411. |
