Not sure if there are enough changes to the original to warrant it yet. They made a number of changes to the original EB48, but a lot of those were included in the initial SCT410.

I would guess it will be a while still.

Better yet, how about 1/10th scale buggies or 2wd SC, was forced to buy a Losi to have something to run indoor, it felt sacrilegious haha

I wouldn't hold my breath for a SCT410.2 soon considering they've got the NB, ET, NT to still release. Lets all be honest the EB.2 is the all the parts that are on the NB so the NB and EB "Match"....but I'd even be ok with a .2 Update Kit for the SCT410..

This info is wrong. The .2 upgrade was essentially all the lightened drivetrain parts and straight cut diffs. The NB has a few new features like the rear diff housing.

My .2 has the upgraded rear diff housing

Didn't get a 2wd sc yet only the tlr 22 2.0. You suggest AE 2wd sc over losi I assume?

All I can say for sure is that the quality of my son's Tekno SCT410 is higher than the quality of my Losi SCTE. It handles a bit better too. I've been running an AE SC10 for a few years now and they are great trucks but I can't really compare anything other than the Durango that I have driven (not as good). I don't think you can go wrong with either the Losi or the AE 2wd but it would be cool to see someone else come out with a 2wd short course truck.

Sc10 all the way, love my sc10, it never broke, just sold it to get the .2.

+1 on a 2wd sc from tekno, I'm trying to hold back but I want to run 2wd sc and I know it'll be awhile if tekno even makes one, till then I'll get a 2wd slash...haha for real though probably going to end up with a 22sct

Graham11 10-04-2013 04:50 AM

Yea ill prob get the 22sct just for the part interchanging and such between the 22 2.0 buggy I just got. But man if much rather be giving my $ to Danny then horizon.

honda237 10-04-2013 05:10 AM

Just remove the front diff, front driveshafts and front center driveshaft, then lock the center diff and now you have a 2wd sc tekno truck. You will have the heaviest 2wd sc truck on the track.

+1

Even if Tekno made a SCT410 conversion kit from 4wd to 2wd. I know it would be a little heavier than the others, but it would be a tank!!!

Front Bumper Needed

Hi guys.

Due to a mix up I now don't have a front bumper in order to race tomorrow. I'm in Columbus, Ohio and are willing to travel within Ohio to pick one up if you have a spare.

Please let me know.

Thanks.
