Both are good cars. I run an original '13 car and have no plans to change. The updates are not needed to be competitive. If i was looking at getting a new car it would be between the HB and Xray. If you have local xray parts support then there is no better car.

Both are good cars, it just comes down to parts support.

Those were the 2 that I was deciding between also. Parts support at local tracks are about the same, nil. So that levels the playing field. I was looking for a used d413, and came across a used xb4 2014. Was able to do a trade that worked well for me, so it made my decision easier. And it turns out, a lot of xrays local now that we converted from indoor dirt, to indoor astroturf.

I had the D413 and switch over to xray XB4 2015 buggy. All my cars where xray car decided to try something different that's when I bought the D413 ended not liking the D413 because it did not feel right compare to my other Xray cars. I try the XB4 2015 from a friend at the track and love it. Thats why I switch the D413 I sold it to a friend he love it. I am kinda byes when it comes to Xray because I love the brand so much and the way the manual are it is a dream to build an XRAY cars..

The only support I will have for both cars will be the internet?

So I'm taking that out of the equation

What did you not like about the D413 so I can add it to my Cons list of things please sir. So all the upgrades are not needed? For the Xtray '15? Is the resell value great? Reason I ask is bc Team Xray has a history of changing kits every year. Like in Dec the '16 will be out. I guess I don't have to have the new new new all the time.
Thank you sir

Will the rear hanger come with the kits by now? or Do I have to call Dallas to get the replacement part?
Are the Diffs Gears plastic or Metal?

@Motorman. In your pros and cons consider ease of maintainance. The xb4 is very easy to build and work on.

Thank you for your insight.
We ran '14 cars the entire indoor season this year and placed in the top at many races and in all cases were ahead of the '15 cars if that gives you any idea of you do not need the latest and greatest.

I own both the 14 and 15 car, I find that the 15 with the center dif is more smooth when getting on the throttle and the braking does not tend to be as jarring and doesn't bring the rear up on some fast straights as my slipper car has. I will say many d413s at my track seem to break shock shafts and front bulkheads on the reg. these are not being bashed about either, just in normal laps. I'm waiting to see how bad it gets as we head into outdoor season. It's pretty tough to break an Xb4.

Thank you for your insight.
The things I did not like about the D413 was the hassle of taking it apart compare to the Xray car. Also Xray car are more durable and can take more punishment and that's not just me saying it is very well know in the industry that Xray can take a beating and still keep running..

The only complain ppl have on Xray is that Part support is not good the reason they say that because they buy from local dealer. I buy everything online so parts from my xray I can find easy. I have the Xb9e it is a 3 years car and I love it and the company still makes parts for it..

As for the XB4 durability and lap times, here is my experience with only 3 races I've done with my '13 so far:

First race, in the first heat, I was the only buggy left running at the end of the heat. Crazy to say so, but it happened. Needless to say I was TQ at first due to that lol
Ended up winning the main by a full lap over the B44, D413, and another '13 XB4.

Second race with it I was at a big track and was TQ over a D413 and a works both driven by sponsored drivers untill I overheated.

Third race (local again), I won against a kyosho and a couple AE's, nothing broke still.
