If you are stripping the heads on the allen bolts you need higher quality wrenches most likely. Lots of companies make good wrenches out there. I got the blue AE set that has all the tips in the handle. I have never had an issue since getting them.

Thx I'll take a look at those.

Hello,

Is there any RPM upgrade for the B44.2 spring cup?

Broke 2 this weekend...

Can't find any on "amain" website other than for B44.1

What do you think of Avid aluminium's one?

Thanks

I also busted a spring cup this past weekend ( maybe when I bumped into St33v3's car lol )...

Anybody else got problems with these? Seems to me they took quite a bit of material off to make holes into them...

What Allen tips is everyone using for the top plate screws? I'm using the 1/16 tip, but it appears to be to tight for some of my screws. If I use the 1.5 then it fits but its really loose. I think this is why I'm stripping my screws.

This buggy utilizes all SAE hardware, so yes using a 1.5 probably is causing your issues.

That's what I thought. Some of my screws are tighter than others. I may just have to replace some of them.

Of course you bumped into me, you're always trailing behind & trying to catch me :P

Maybe I should run slick tires to help you :P

I've also had the same thing happen, predominately with the button head screws. And using the same AE tool set. And using the bits in the handle, not in a powered driver of any type.

I've broken 3 so far...They were pretty good crashes though. I tried the Losi 22 cups and they are just a bit too small.

Doesn't Avid make aluminum spring cups for this kit? Won't break those... maybe something else down the line like shafts or mounts.

Default Aka

Question on the Aka rebars front and back...

Race on a indoor packed dirt (clayish) med to high bite where jconcept bar codes Gold and losi pinks hook up pretty good.

What compound should I get?? AKA Super soft be too soft or wait for the new clay compound? I have pretty good throttle control but sometimes I get trigger happy out of corners.

Should I try super soft?
Even a jconcepts green? Or are these compounds made for dryer tracks?

Just looking for tire before my kit arrives.
