If your using gold barcodes then you will want the clay compounds most likely.talk to guys at the track, someone there probably already has it figured out.

What compound should I get?? AKA Super soft be too soft or wait for the new clay compound? I have pretty good throttle control but sometimes I get trigger happy out of corners.

Should I try super soft?
Even a jconcepts green? Or are these compounds made for dryer tracks?

Just looking for tire before my kit arrives.
Our dirt sounds the same. Its top soil, the rebars are the best at out track and dominate the field. When the traction is real high a soft in the front and a super soft rear. The red inserts are a must. I would recommend no holes in the tire but 2 in the wheel. This will make the tire stiffer but if its to stiff you can add 2 hole at a time to the tire as needed to soften them up.

Our track is Medium traction most of the time. I run super soft on all fours and with 4 1/8th holes in the tire and red inserts. They last much longer than any other tire on the market.

What is the point of cutting the holes in your tires?

Oh yeah race day has arrived. cant wait to get this bad boy dirty. Some thing tells me that 4.5 is going to be a force to be dealt with.
This lid fits so much better than the JC.

Air, so they can breath. I think I will do a vid and show why they are important. I have tried a lot of tricks with tires over the years but found the holes are as important as the oil in the shocks.

Vid would be helpful. After you make it you can ask the mods to stick it in Rookie Section or Off-road section.

I will buy some tires today. Its really best to see why Vs. trying to explain it.

Awesome looking!

What camber links are you using? Those look really good on this car.

Looking forward to your race report!

They are JConcepts. You have to change the link to a shorter one though. So its cheaper to run RPM but I like the different look. I will post how the ace goes.

8mm Longer.

UN4RACING- Nice car! It looks dialed with the lid on it. Very stealth. I think it's funny that you say Rebars last are a long lasting tire though. I got some used with a kit I bought and they appeared to be almost new. They were awesome on the dusty outdoor track I used them on, but by the end of the day the middle of the tire was slick. I'm fairly sure they were super softs, so it could have just been that it was too soft of a tire for the surface I was running on, but they were hooked up, so I didn't care. Good luck in your race today!
