Doesn't make sense to convert all of their existing componentry to metric just to satisfy the SAE haters. Think of the nightmare that would create in the spares market "do you need the metric or SAE bulkhead, a-arm, bolt, etc." would be heard in hobby shops everywhere. And do you think they could offer it at the same price as the old one if they retooled every component to use metric fasteners? Heck no!

Associated is SAE on all of their current 1/10 offerigs except the SC10 4X4. I enjoy the commonality of components and fasteners between my 4 AE vehicles.

Changing to metric fasteners is inevitable. Fact. You will have to get over it sooner or later. Let's not forget that metric IS also a better solution.

Time enough to comment on an argument over something insignificent?

I don't care if they fasten the darn thing with duct tape just get them shipped. Fastest most reputable 4x4 buggy on the market. SAE is working just fine. Maybe the metric kits could learn something here?

I don't care if it's metric or SAE personally. Just make more of the damn bolts the same freaking size so I don't have to have 12 allen wrenches out on the table while I'm trying to work on the car. Is that too much to ask????? Reduce the number of different size tools needed- metric OR SAE. Or go back to phillips head screws.

4 is too many? One of those 4 is rarely used, too.

In fact, my B44.1 doesn't even use that rare one, so it's actually 3. The B44.2 should be the same.

Wait, it is, on those two metric screws that hold my motor to the cam.

Why are you here? So funny Durango wins one big race in the states and every fan boy has to use that as there default? You know better though that's why your comment ended with just joking.

AE, Losi and Durango have very competitive cars. Anyone that thinks it is the car that is winning is crazy... AE has a great team with Ryan and Ryan on top.

Is this guy serious, ae is the only major team in the US that puts more than one top driver in the class and you want raise your nose up at others.. Talk about fan boys...

I don't think I've ever read a post from anyone swinging so hard from any one company on such a short rope and I'm NOT joking

I have been looking up differences from the .1 to the .2. I haven't seen any parts as for the diff gears? The .2 states 2.5:1 while the .1 is 2.6:1.....

Misprint....?
