I was thinking about mounting the receiver above the ESC but would like to keep that area clear to give the ESC adequate cooling. We'll see how this holds up tomorrow.
I see your using the old style RB5 axles and hex. Is that just a preference? or is there a reason for doing so?

If your looking for an extra kit, I'd call every place that had pre-orders. I was number 56 @amain and they were scheduled to get like 80+.. After 7 days they'll sell any kits for guys that flaked. But you have to make sure your on the list.. That's how I got my DEX410 v3 last year.

Good luck

Has anyone mounted up a LRP SXX esc or a standard size Spektrum RX in the car yet? Just curious to see what kind of space is available before mine arrives. I might have to switch over to an MRT transponder in the buggy, I don't trust an RC3 to push signal through both a metal-cased, metal-geared servo and an aluminum chassis. Guys who run 22's locally have had trouble with the RC3's mounted on the servos.

Anyone know where they may have one available? That sucks I was more excited than ever thinking I'll have one for a local shoot out event
We have a few kits left in stock and ready to ship. All the spares and hopups are available, too.

Then your local track must have the loop too deep or a bad connection. I have mine on top of every servo or in RX box in 8th buggy. Never had trouble when I had a 22 either.

Ohhh and my kit got here yesterday I have a BUTTTTT load(22 pair) of mounted front tires, new, 1 run, or a few runs if anyone is just getting into kyosho and need 12mm fronts.

Jeff,

Did you build one yet?
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the RB6?

It's more preference than anything. The fronts are lighter than the kit pieces, and I like how the hexes are thicker than the kit ones.

Jeff is very good. Wont deal with anyone else. Got my RB6 yesterday build went great, MT4 receiver not so great, its now on top of the battery. Hope nobody lands on me. Hopefully by the end of the month I will have my KO radio and these problems will all go away. Something else, yesterday I was told that a lot of people are rewiring their R10 Pro's with 14 gauge wire to make it easier to mount in the back. Mine barely fits right with the standard 12 gauge wire.

I'm wondering how best to fit
Sanwa 451R etc. in mid config

Tekin RS Pro for this one, normally I run Orion R10

With the 14 gauge wire I should be able to fit the R10 Pro how Tebo has his minus the huge receiver. May pop the case, shrink tube it, and plug in.

Thanks, guys!

A local store cancelled several RB6 kits from Kyosho. We were able to acquire a couple more cases. Kyosho is out of RB6's for a couple months.

I'll be building one and comparing all the new parts vs. old parts for you guys to see. Stay tuned.

I will post a pic later but all my stuff fit awesome. Shorty lipo is the key. I went 1015 servo, then my airtronics receiver. Lipo and then the LRP SXX fit perfect with the cap hidden under the shock tower.nothing had to go on the sides. All balanced right down the middle.

During racing at OC/RC last night Tater and Chris stripped out ball studs from their front hub carriers. Only fix was to install the longer ball studs which I have on order. Has anyone else had this problem. They went 1-2 in modified, First Chris, then Tater.
