Also, good thinking on the 25wt shock oil, I may give that a try.

Would you believe 3 of the 4 didn't have it either! But good old Tony's Hobbies had it! They actually had 2 if anyone else is looking for the rear. They even priority shipped it for me so I'll have it for the SC Nats this weekend!

Oh man, I totally missed that, thanks! So which front springs have you settled on if you're running the LF yellow in the back?

I have not run them on my buggy as I have been running a lot of truck this year. We don't run them on the trucks as we run much stiffer springs then what are offered in the LF family on trucks.

since amain hobbies has now marked the 22sct down to $323 from the original 369, is this a sign there's a 22SCT 2.0 in the works?

i would think the 22SCT 2.0 is in the works. But there seems to be a typical pattern of kits. Buggy first, Stadium Truck second, and then Short Course Truck.

the 22T is currently $189 on amain, down from $260. and in 2012 it was selling for $300+.
I would think there will be a 22SCT 2.0 by next spring at latest. that sounds like a reasonable amount of time for them to figure A-arm modifications, which I would assume will be necessary as they were on the buggy. Alos the new rear forward toe block with m3 screw and other parts as well.

I am confident TLR will take there time and do it right.
keep in mind, they are in fact working on the other new buggy was well.

Wait, you lost me... I wasn't asking about a buggy, I was asking about your 22SCT. Didn't we just discuss you running the yellow LF springs in the back of your truck? I was asking what you're running in the front of your truck

I am running LF springs on the rear of my SCT but the LF front springs are for buggy only. They don't get to the rates we run on trucks. Sorry should have made that a little more clear. (I read a lot of threads too so I may have lost track of where I was! ) The answer is the same though. I run normal Green, blue or black springs up front

And we can hope for a new, longer lasting, less slop, bell-crank type steering system, too! We know TLR is experimenting. I wonder if that started before or after the Exotek steering system came to market?

I forgot to report that me stripping the Exotek ball stud must have been my fault (or a fluke). Exotek sent me a replacement for free (thanks!) and that has been holding solid since. Love my new steering rack

How does the steering feel now? Quicker, further?

Give us your short review, comparing the bellcrank type to the stock slider.

Por favor

I have the rack in all three cars, 22B, 22T and 22sct.

Night and day difference. Steering response on on power, off power, mid corner and all the way around is improved.

I mean a TLR guy could come in here and say it does the opposite and the world would agree.

Take it for what its worth man but it is a great investment for me.
