Probably not. The fronts are 6.75 mm and the std rear is 10 mm. So if you run the rears in the front, you're going to be 6.5 mm wider overall.

This looks nearly identical to the pro line LCG wonder if the LCG was a testing rig for the 22sct

I doubt that was the case.

More than likely design ideas were borrowed.

I can assure you that nothing about the 22SCT was borrowed from the Pro-Line LCG. The 22SCT design was finished over a year ago, probably well before Pro-Line even thought about the LCG.

I meant the other way around. Simply compare the chassis design queues of the PL chassis to the 22.

Oh yeah - PL really stole some design elements from the 22. The Color, the battery pads... Etc

To clarify, because I sense a bit of sarcasm.

The original poster was saying the 22SCT was nearly identical to the ProLine LCG, and that if the ProLine was the testing rig for the 22SCT.

I thought that was a bit out there.

My point is that it isn't, and that if anything the PL has borrowed from the 22 which would make them look similar. It's easy to see that the engineering is completely different, but the similarities lie in the design of the chassis. And are the items that you point to slim, similar color, side rails, battery strap mounts, etc.

Anyway, I wasn't hoping to have to write all that .. but I guess when I use 1-2 sentences the point gets lost .. oh well.

I don't know if we're disagreeing or agreeing - flipped over on its lid, lots of people are going to confuse the P-L thing for the 22SCT

god knows why you'd dump all that money into a slash anyway. I mean there's like nothing slash about it anyway

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Well....when you have something that works people want to imitate it.

Aren't you supposed to be an RC news organization? Shouldn't you be telling us when it's coming instead of fishing for news on a message board?

The 22SCT is based off the 22 which has been out for quite a while now. Pro-line and everyone else coming out with narrow alum chassis on there offroad cars are doing the TLR 22 concept. Not the other way around.

Yes the 22 was not the first offroad alum chassis but the narrow long chassis concept of the current 22 series design is quickly becoming the new thing.
