I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure the trans ratio is different in the xxx and the 22, like a 2.60 for the xxx and 2.43 for the 22, someone who knows for sure can chime in.

Default Pro line Slash chassi

Has any got a hold of the Pro-line Slash chassi, it looks very similar to the 22SCT chassi? I'm sure it wouldn't handle the same but is it coming close?

What sway bars are you guys starting off with? I'm still basically running the kit set-up so far. I've dropped down to 3* caster and like the low speed steering. Will adding sway bars take away steering? The current layout at our track has some tight 180's and I think sways will make the truck feel not as lazy. Thanks

Bump up to five on the caster would help

@Cloaked: That's impressive! Nice job!

Swapped kit caster to 25/5 and was very impressed with the steering response tonight. Turned on a dime and really rotated through the tight S sections. Going to add soe sway bars o see if I can carry more speed in the sweepers.

I'm only running them on my Steering links, the rest haven't given me any problems. If they for some reason start, then I'd have no qualms about using them throughout the truck. But honestly, the only place that needs it is the steering links.

Same thing happened to me, only I've got the aluminum hubs, but it did wear away some of the aluminum. Put a little locktite on the pin, then lock down the pin with the set-screw and make sure you add a little locktite to the set-screw as well. Once I did this, it hasn't happened since.

It gets even more impressive, once I took it apart it had shredded through the whole circle. Its obviously happened when I was at full throttle.

Ill run it till it breaks, got another set of plastics on order... somehow Amain were out of the pins though

PS. Thanks for the Tips, Blue locktite on everything

I have some large shrink wrap that covers the bell of the CVD. It keep the pin from falling out even if I didn't get it tight enough or the loc-tite didn't hold.

Not sure why TLR hasn't machined the flat spot on the pins for the set screw but if you do that, the pin won't can't slide out even if the screw does come loose.

I had two big Blue Groove races before the Sway bar kits came out so I just built my own. Simple to do on the front, just get the XXX-SCT Rear kit and the SCTE sway bar kit. Use the Bars from the XXX and the mounts from the SCTE. For the Chassis all I did was take a 3MM screws with a aluminum washers and it work perfectly. If you need it in a pinch it works great.

XXX and the 22 platform all use a 2.43 transmission.
