Default chasing the setup

Our track this round happens to be a 10-11 lap track. On my new 22 sct I keep making small typical changes here and there and nothing seems to bring a consistent 27-28 second lap other then the stock setup. Every time I make a change I'm up to 28-29 seconds. I set it back to the oem set up and and the times go down.

With that said, I would like to suggest to anyone starting with this platform... it is the best 2wd platform I have ever raced and give the oem setup a chance before you open up your xxx-sct note book and try to apply the same or similar. Now obviously that wont work for every type of track but it did for our hard pack dirt 40x80 indoor.

My first weekend with this truck at the club landed me a clean sweep and the A main, the next day took the TQ and the A main. So far I have 3 nights and 3 A main wins.

22sct, stock setup minus the rear height i dropped to 28mm, tekin rspro sensored only 20 boost in the 3k range, tekin 10.5 redline oem timed 21 tooth, PL holeshot M3.

I think I'm going to get rid of the boost and just turn the motor timing up till the motor runs about 130ish.

Hey, I was wondering if the savox 1251 has enough torque for this truck. I want to use a low profile servo so I have enough room and this one was the only one in my budget with good specs. It has .09 speed at 6.0v, and 125 oz-in at 6.0v.

Yeah Boss,

125oz is plenty for pretty much any 2WD 1/10th scale......I use the 1258TG which is 166 oz @ .08 but I've used servos as low as 100oz with success....

I used to drive for savox and did quite a bit of testing.

Anyone know if TLR is going to make the idle gears out of metal? I stripped one out on my 22sct. 1st time on this truck. The one I sold kept stripping them continuously but that is because it had a bearing that would lock up. No bearing problems on it this time and the slipper is just loose.

I would try changing the trans case,
if anything, it can hurt to have an extra one on hand.

You cant set it "how it looks right" If you do the tires will hit the fender well because the front suspension cycles up and back.

The front wheels will "look" pushed out further then the wheel opening. Compress the suspension and you will see that it ends up centered.
