Put the ball stud on the rear hubs all the way to the inside, remove the washer on the inner ball stud and it will tighten up the rear alot. You might even want to do the U-brace shave mod too. It makes driving the SC's so mush easier. I mean 100 times easier.
But practice is key. More wheel time = better controll and lower lap times until its time to turn the throttle up. Then more wheel time and more throttle and then...... Its a never ending cycle

As far as my friends issue with burnin up motors, I got his truck here so Im going to go thru it over the next 2 nights and rebuild/ trying to find out the problem. Ill let you know if I find anything.

Avid springs fit these fine, im running the avid upper collars and the tlr lower cups.

I am waiting for the AE springs. I really hope they make the colors consistent. i.e. bluwe is always 3.7lbs on front, rear, buggy, truck etc. That is the one thing I like about losi. makes it easier to remember that what is what rate.

does the losi spring cups hit the arms at all when doing the bb spring coversion?
also can you use the losi lower spring cups on the front of the sc10 with avid truck front spring set and acheive normal ride height?
