Good to hear! I just bought one for my T4.1. Hope it matches up well with my Savox's.

Setting Ball Diff

Want to know if the resistance on my sc10 ball diff is correct. I hold down one tire and also the spur gear while turning the other tire. Tire that I turn still rotates after I have set the diff pretty tight. Is that normal? If I set the diff any tighter, it is not smooth compared to 1/8 of a turn back from nearly locked.

Why it's not okay to do a radio check in the fastest straight during open practice

If it's not that tight it will slip. If it feels notchy, the thrust bearing is in need of service. That's where all a diff's smoothness is.

Before it met an untimely, premature, and needless end, trust me...it was.

Out of all the race cars I've ever had since 1990, I think that's my favorite one.

Man, I've had my truck for a while now and it has always bn a good truck and has served me well, today I was practicing and making fine tune adjustments and man my truck feels as if its the best it can b........ very dialed. I have the most confidence in my truck at the moment it just seem to stick to the line no matter how much throttle I pull, it carried a shit ton of corner speed entry, during, and exit. I was running slicks on a track that started getting dusty and I didn't have to baby the truck to stay out of the fluff ......I happy camper here.

I just drove and raced my new ftsc10 for the first time today i was a b4 guy before all buggy but wanted to try this out. It was pretty fun and i did pretty good for my 1st time 3rd place but where i could of made up most of my time was in a few of the corners the truck would just role through if going to fast than others id break traction like i wanted to. I learned to slow down but i want to push it and not have to. So my question is what stops in from rolling so much being higher center of gravity compared to my b4. I seen sway bar but there not on any of the setup sheets so there must be something else to counteract it from tipping over. By the way its is at like 30mm ride height so its not to high.

Brand new rebuild kit installed so I do not think it is a thrust bearing issue.

Fair enough - but I can tell you I run mine with the spring fully collapsed. I run ceramic balls and just resand the diff/thrust bearing rings flat on a piece of 320 when it starts to feel notchy.

Tip from last week run:
"Always check your wheel nuts, or else you will strip your wheel and/or your hex adapters"

Just went through this experience...killed my Jconcepts rear hexes and a bunch of DE wheels. Really want to get the AVID hexes but they are out of stock.

Things that you can try one at a time, try lowering ur ride height. To say 29 rear and 30 front, increase ur camber by 1 deg, also addng limiters in the shocks is a very effective way to decrease traction rolls, add 2 in the front and run 1 or 2 limiters in the rear. Try these adjustments and see how the truck feels and I hope this info help ya bro and good luck

this is what i would do... 5 limiters in the front and 3 in the rear.. 35 weight in the front with blue spring and 32.5 in the rear with a silver spring. -1 camber in the rear and neutral in the front. ride height 28 in the rear and 30 in the front.. battery in the center with at least 60grams up weight in the rear.. i run a sway bar too with a stock ae body.. if you need less body roll pro line flow tek is a great choice.. wont dump over so easy.. hope this helps.

Hey guys, i was wondering if the sc10 ball diff, and the b4.1 ball diff were the same? Because i cat find one specifically for the b4.1, only sc10.
