:tire:Question: What way should I go to get a 17.5 Blinky setup in my SC10RS without breaking the bank? Is the Hobbywing Justock system any good?:tire:

Has anyone put oversize wheels/tires on their SC10? I'm trying to get it to handle slightly taller grass better.

The HW Justock is a great ESC and will work for 17.5 blinky.

Thanks, will keep that in mind, but decided to go with the Turnigy system.

How do I get the slop out of the steering linkage on my SC10 RS? Have put the aluminumarms on in place of the servo saver, but that didn't do a lot...

Im having problems with the ball cups on my sc10rs, everytime the truck lands from a jump they pop off the ball studs causing the dog bones to fly off the truck. Some one that i was talking with at a track told me the RPM ball cups are good but it looks like they wont fit the stock ball cups(i could be wrong though), any suggestions?

Yes the rpm cups will work. Get the short ones.

Yes, RPM makes ballcups for the SC-10 and they are way better than the stock ballcups. Ballcups are plastic and ballstuds are metal. The ballcups snaps into place. What do you think happens to the plastic as you snap the ballcups on and off a bunch of times? Spend the few dollars to replace the ballcups and your problem will go away. This hobby isn't that hard if you think about the way stuff works, and then use logic and common sense.

I understand that the metal will cause the plastic to wear out and that the stock ones are not so good to begin with, i was just making sure the ones from RPM would fit properly so i wouldn't waste any money buying them.

Why would they say SC10 on them if they didn't work for the SC10?

AE has used the same ballcups on the T4/B4/SC10 since they came out.

All i had asked was a simple question if they fit or if they don't fit and all that needed to be answered was yes or no. You dont have to be rude about it. Also they don't say sc10 on them.

You'll run into to people like that from time to time. Just ignore them as most people in this hobby are willing to help without putting you down.
