I would highly recommend setting it to 100% on your ESC, then adjust it using the remote. As said, it's a tuning option so being able to set it on the fly with your remote is nice.

I dont think my remote can adjust the brake. I have the Futaba 3PL. Will soon upgrade to the MT-4 i think.

The 3PK and 4PK have something called "ATL". I'm not sure what that stands for, but is your brake percentage. I have it bound to one of the wheels on the grip, which is probably how it comes. That way I can adjust real quick and easy.

I'm not sure if the 3PL has that option, but there's more than one way to skin a cat. Calibrate your ESC at 100% throttle and brake EPA, then simply turn down the brake EPA to whatever you want.

Anyone run a rear swaybar? I run on some med to high bite and just wanted some opinions

shagnat 11-28-2012 04:58 AM

Great question. I'd like to know also.

I run one and it helped a lot on a high bite clay track. tamed down the rear body roll that was scrubbing off speed.

the new JC axles are out. so it you are breaking the AE ones, try the jc ones, they look like a better design over all.

I have yet to break any of the AE axles (using the Avid hex conversion that uses the RS fronts). :weird:

Hello. So I run on a high bite track. About 4500 to 6000 sq ft. I'm running 7.5 motor with rs pro. What's a good start...like 84/18???

I run mine when the track is tacky, but I disconnect it when the track gets dry. I just take the link off one side.
