and at low weight and 5600 mAh no need to worry about a 10 minute or maybe even a 15 minute main.

I dont think that is right. Based on the dimensions of the pack there is no way they fit 2s 5600mah in each of them. The only thing that makes me question that is the funky looking balance tap they show a close up picture of. By the looks of it its for a 6s pack. I cant quite figure out what they have going on with that thing. The main picture looks like it shows only 3 wires which would be a normal 2s saddle pack, but that close up picture shows 7 wires which would be for 6s???? and the description says 5s???? WTF????

Man,I might have to try those out some time. They look great, but I've seen quite a few puffed nano-techs which is wierd because turnigy states they will out last a regular turnigy batt. Also the title to the link says 4000mah 5s. Kind of funny because each of the batteries themselves say 5600mah 7.4v. 7.4x2=14.8(4s) not 5s. I would wait to get them until hobbyking gets their $h!t strait. Hope they perform well.

I was just looking at those yesterday. I might order a few to try out. They'd be 380g per set and at 96mm you could stagger them on their sides in the tray.
I've been really happy with the 5600 and 6600 65C Nanotechs.

If that doesn't work out you could also get a pair of these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=23134

Imagine one of them in an scte with your battery tray. You could move the weight waaaaaaay back.

the pic that shows the connector with the battery doesn't appear to have the same number if balance wires going into the connector as the separate balance tap photo has.
seems they do the 7.4V label per saddle pack on other packs they make on things that are truly 7.4V total as well:

I can definitely see these being a benefit possibly for guys who want more weight forward on the chassis for dual lipo saddle style setups if these are 14.8V.

thought there's shorty pack you can use.
shorty is like regular 2S pack, only around 1/3 shorter, and at 200g weight, they are 100g lighter.

they haven't put that in US warehouse though.

So, when is Tekno going to tweak this chassis into a 4x4 SCT? Just need to narrow down the width a bit to meet ROAR max. width specs, slap on some bumpers and body mounts, and it'll be by far the best 4x4 SCT on the market. Dropping from 4S to 2S battery and going from a full sized 1/8th motor to a 4 pole 540 motor should keep the weight to reasonable levels. If the truck came in at 6.5 lbs or less, race ready, tha'd be perfect.

I got my buggy Monday, I've been busy so I didn't get done until today. I weighed it and I was kind of surprised that it weighed 7.13lbs. I thought my setup would have been a bit lighter running a 3s pack.

Surprised to see it being that heavy though.
