I got mine from tower hobbies too. But it was the first batch. I need to see if I have the new one. I bet I don't..

Anyone know when they started shipping the new mounts? I'm not sure if mine has it or not, got it during the amain black Friday sale.

Kinda hope it doesn't so I can actually buy an upgrade for this thing

Is it just me or is the 8ight 3.0 pretty much a rip off of the eb4 ? Seems like all of the updates were taken straight off the Tekno design.

Any links to setup sheets with Fioroni pistons? I have Sramos suggestions, and some springs are on the way, for starters I put on the closest I have to those, just wanted to feel out what others have found to work, especially oil/springs?

If you have a .2, flip it over and look at the slot in the side guard. If yo have a hole at the end of the slot, you most likely have the new motor mount. that hole is to drop the screw thru. I have .2 with the original side guards and motor mounts. I emailed Tekno and they were quick to respond that they have sold out of the old style motor mount. SO i ordered one from them, dont know about tower or amain, but you can buy ten new mount direct from tekno

I didn't find Sramos' setup sheet for the EB48, only SCT410. I did come across a post where he said Tekno red/25wt rear and Tekno green/30wt front. Both are very different than the Kyosho orange/35wt rear and Kyosho lt. blue/40wt front I ran with the Kyosho 8x1.3 pistons....
