What ride height does everyone run for blown out tracks with big air?

Do yourself a favor and download Curtis Door's setup from the Tekno site. With the 8x1.3 pistons you should start with 37.5/30.
We're using 26/28 around here. You might want to try 28/30.

Summer in South FL is rapidly approaching and temps are getting brutal. What I mentioned is just my starting point. I use set up sheets for reference, but do my best not to just blindly copy them. I like to drive it and try to determine what it needs, then glance at the sheets to see if racers much more skilled than me agreed. Usually I'm on the right track, but seeing softer springs on the sheets boggles my mind. its completely contrary to what i experienced.

Thanks for that - I was looking at other cars but Serpent was outside of my radar. I picked up that spring as well as the 3.3 and 3.2 to work on getting my buggy setup. CSI and Kyosho white 1.3 x8s seemed hard to come by as well, so I went with Ghea pistons and the Kyosho front spring.
Pretty excited for my order to arrive.

I also went stiffer with spring when i started with this car. It was good but no way near like it was this weekend.

Does anyone happen to run (or used to) the eb48 at dirt burners in Livonia mi? Talking to one of the guys there who knows the track and rides very well say that people say the eb48 is very loose in the rear on the track. Seems like a setup issue but hey I'm no setup guru.
