a friend of mine in Australia managed to control 1/8 buggy with a very high gearing in a narrow streets all the time without hitting or flipping his buggy, the same with another friend in Canada.
the other guy in the USA is the most clever driver i ever seen, he can control a 2WD light weight 10th scale truck at night while reaching above 100mph without crashing, spinning, or flipping with motor on 6S and with at least 25t pinion..
i would say -and this is just my opinion- when it comes to use such motor on 4S or higher on racing tracks , it's all about the talent of the individual holding the transmitter.
thanks again ifuonlyknow.

Hi Danny, is there an Australian distributor for Tekno? My LHS didn't even know you existed, so they lost some brownie points there.
I'm looking to get two EB48 kits, one to build and one for spares and am researching the cheapest way to get to in Australia.
Thanks

Hi guys,
After a little research I'm planning to buy a new EB48 however a friend of mine (an avid Mugen fan) keeps telling me that the MBX6 is far superior regarding turning capability..
Please, can someone who tried both cars enlight me with the truth?
Also I'm planning to run a 6s system (with a tekin 1400kv and 3000mah lipo), has someone experience with a similar setup?

why didn't you check the forum here first before buying that buggy ? i posted a video i made to compare the both buggy's and indicated clearly that the dex408 comes in 2nd place after the eb48 also notified that there's two big mistakes in it's design that made me throw it way and buying the eb48 instead.
Hope that you'll find a trader soon.

anyway, the dex408 is my 2nd choice but it has a very bad esc location tough. their customer support in europe very slow in response too.

I don't think there is an Australian distributor as yet but go to tower hobbies you should be able to buy one for about 450to470aus with postage that's with international discount codes become a member first it will reduce postage a little then you will receive emails with international discounts code you can use based on how much you spend hope this helps mate

Tower hobbies good for bulk buy large orders
Delivery 3to 4weeks faster shipping more costly up to you
Ok for one eb48 code is 014XG about $125aus off
Two eb48's code is 014XL about$250 aus off
Try them mate

Thank you so much, I will check those out.
I really need to decide on an ESC/motor combo.
I'm thinking sensored and was looking at the Tekin combo but the Viper ESC with a Tekin motor is looking better maybe.
I was thinking the 1900kv motor but people are now saying its gutless?
