I dont know what you guys problem is , my conversion kit was delivered last week and I have raced it several times since then :weird:.

I am finishing 4-5 laps ahead of the fastest guy at the track cause of the extreme quality of the XRay cars . It just naturally makes you a better driver ! :nod:

Why does everybody wanna bitch about the truck. First off it was a prototype built by Wes and kurt, he then handed it all over to Kurt so then Kurt has to finalize all the parts and find a company or companies to build the parts at a affordable price with good quality and when parts are made I'm sure Kurt will want to test them to make sure they will hold up to the abuse they will take and all of that and any other things he has to do to get the kits in production will take some time, also Kurt is a driver for xray that travels and races a lot so he's not sitting around spending 100% of his time working on a sc truck just to make a few of you happy, if you're not willing to wait till everything is built the way kurt wants them then DONT WAIT go run the losi, ae or a traxxas slash and stop bitching like a little kid who doesn't get what they want

For me its about "service." I've been eyeing the Mugen and XSCT threads noting who is giving better service. Both trucks should be excellent, I want to know who is taking care of their customers. If you quote a time/date then be accurate if not follow up and let me know what changed. Im willing to pay top dollar for a great truck - just keep me informed.

I have to agree with toast....ive been monitoring this since the prototype bye out front and now this. It would be easier on them to simply make a post stating were they are at with it instead of dead silence. Kind of leads people to wonder is all. Im sure it will be a great truck when its done. But announcing something before you are ready and then leaving people hanging is worst than simple delaying your announcement.

All other things aside, Kurt and Wes' lack of responsiveness to this thread has been abismal. No excuses for atleast providing periodic updates. The "Kurt's traveling" approach is tired and unacceptable. Most would simply like to hear updates to the information provided by their own hand, it's called accountability.

Guys... for what its worth Kellum has been sitting around working on the truck until today. He leaves for NeoBuggy in Europe. We have been discussion with xray about some of the parts they are providing and quantities they are able to provide based on feedback on the truck. We have sent drawings to another shop to have parts made to supplement the demand.
We are 100% about customer service hence the reason this process is taking as long as it is. Once everything kicks off we want to ensure complete satisfaction in every possible facet of the truck. If you want certain upgrades from xray, we want them on hand. If we get slammed with 1000 orders at once we want everyone to have the opportunity to get if. Kurt and I are approaching this project with intention of handling each and every one of you and not leave anybody hanging at the end of the day.
I do not know anything about the mugen truck and really am not worried about it. The xsct has been in the hands of some of the fastest in the world for testing. The xsct also spent a year in development. I didn't see somebody else's truck and decide to build my own. WBD pioneered the better sct movement. Wait on the original or go with a wanna be. The choice is yours.
Thank you for being patient. We did plan on people racing the truck already but unforeseen circumstances changed things on us at the last minute.
