The arms that came in were not usable. The vendor changed the design in an effort to lower production cost. (unknown to K2RC while they attended the 1/8 worlds) Round and round they go and basically they can not make an arm look, feel, and flex like what Xray currently uses on the XB9. The last story I heard is they made friends at the 1/8 worlds with a vendor overseas. So more delays, more set backs but it is all for the effort not to compromise the quality of the truck in the long run.

Thanks Cameron for the feedback. It's a shame the arms were bad, but **** happens, particularly when you're doing something a little out of the box like this.

Your post really helps me a bunch. I have an Xray 808 that has been converted by cutting the arms and using some losi parts. The conversion works good but the work on the arms is kind of a hack job. Someone needs to take that man's Dremmel tool away from him. Pretty sure I can do a better job on trimming the arms but I didn't want to spend money on new arms and do all that work if the conversion was coming out soon.

Now that I know the conversion has been delayed I'll go ahead and try to make this setup a bit better and run it until the conversion is available.
