Having a meaningful discussion with George is like trying to teach a pig to sing. Wastes your time, annoys the pig.

Even if that wasn't true, he's trolling. Save your keystrokes.

If it's 6 months to get it together, then it's 6 months. Don't post in February that shipping will begin in March. Then come along after that with the comment that pricing and ordering would come in 7 to 14 days after the DNC. If there are issues preventing the quoting of a price and the release, then tell everyone that it has been held up. No communication makes you wonder what kind of deal this really is.

Yeah, but I bet his intent is for people to not run buggy wheels. Notice the 1/8 conversion is listed next to SC Tires only. Early on people were converting buggies and using regular 1/8th scale buggy wheels instead of SC tires. Now that is no longer an issue. I'd bet if you pointed out the car is using 1/10 SC Tires he would allow an 1/8 "conversion".

Not my intent , just informing , a big race and no 1/8th 4x4 conversions allowed.

Planing on attending one of Scottys races , would be a big deal if I brought a conversion and could not race it ....

Once again, Wild Cherry doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Not that anyone who was paying attention is surprised.

I think the only parts that are homemade are; the arms (which are probably made because the width didn't fit the ROAR specs) and cf parts like the battery tray and servo box and the plate on the center diff that holds a fan and transponder.

This car is a work of art, it would be a crime to exclude it from races (but too expensive for me I think).

It's legal!

George, tell me the story about how fluid dymamics don't work the same in 1:10 scale the way they do in 1:1 cars. I just love that fairy tale about how the laws of physics are repealed for little cars!

I'm also curious about the price and release date. Would be nice if we get a heads up on the price so I can start collecting and recycleing cans by the time this comes out.

I'll talk to him this weekend, don't worry. I'm hoping that he will change his mind after we talk, I think that with the SCTEs as competition, these should not be any different.
