+1 At our local track the 22T wasn't really the competition, it was the RT5's.

Looks like the new Proline Truck Scrubs are in stock and out there. Anyone try them yet? And if so, how do they compare to what they're an obvious copy of, the Losi Taper?

Ive got a set on front and rear. TQ'd and won against mod buggies.
They're good! So far with 2 quals and a main they are holding up well.

I use Avids but my buddy uses the losi's. He runs fronts in the front. Not sure if he tried rears up front but his truck seems dialed and he's very quick. Maybe someone else has first hand experience though.

The Proline closed cell stadium truck inserts are rather firm so you need a lot of bite to make them work and be faster than open cell. I haven't seen the JC stadium truck ones yet (have they even shipped for that matter?).

At my local indoor track, they work(ed) great when the layout is fresher and high-bite but fade off in terms of laptime as the track goes away. And unless you want to completely re-do your setup to fight a push, you really only need them in rear. I've just wound up carrying two sets of the same type of rears, one with open and one with closed cell and switch between them as needed.

I have Jconcept bar codes. The white open foam is pretty firm. Do I need to trim the foam 3/4? I'm running at WCRC.

I've never trimmed the open cell foam in a st tire other than to even out any oem production irregularities. Remember, open cell foam will soften up with use.

I use to round the edges for ruff and bumpy tracks. Now all the tracks around here are fairly smooth I just leave them alone.

Default Springs quick Question

I have too much grip in the front (the back end keeps trying to come around) running Blue springs in the front & rear should I use softer or firmer spring in the FRONT to reduce some of the front traction.
THANKS

Are open cells the ones that come with the kit tires? I'm new to off road and I'm trying to learn the difference between the tires and inserts. Thx in advance!

I'd soften the rear to try to solve your problem by adding grip there. Try green rear springs and work from there.
