Who runs this? Is this for low bite high bit tracks? Is this to for better pack? What WT oil is used?
Thanks

Metric drill bits can be ordered through McMaster Carr.

I got 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 and it was $9 I think.

Get a pin vise and you are good to go. I like Losi std CA and some kicker for glueing holes. Thin goes through the holes too easy IMO.

Check out the setup sheet.
http://www.tlracing.com/ProdInfo/Fil...or%20Clay).pdf

I using a different setup but have 30wt in the front on 1.6 pistons and 25wt in the rear with 1.7 pistons. A little closer to dunfords setup.

I found the 2 hole pistons tend to pack up a little more through the strock. Almost like progressive pack. Some describe it as a little spongy. If feels great on the track though.

Gearing will depend on how much ESC timing or endbell timing you choose to run.

Since you signature says tekin I can suggest some tekin setups.

http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire/ESCsetups/index.html

There are a couple RS setups for the XXX-TCR here. The 22T has the same tranny ratio so gearing will be the same.

I would try 25/76 and check temps. That is about 3 teeth taller then where you were. The Novak motors can get hot so you can't gear them as agressive as some other motors out there but keep gearing up until motor temps get in the 160's. It should generate more overall power the higher you go.

I have a Tekin RS esc in my 22T RTR (not much of an RTR now though with all of the upgrades I've done to it).

I've notice that the minimum throttle setting that you can have is a "1", which I now have it set to. Is there any advantage to having a larger minimum throttle value in the esc?

Thanks.

Yes, but no concrete opinions have been formed.

I have a kit coming in hopefully next week some time. I am excited to get this on the track. I have a firestorm that I use as a basher and I thought it would be fun to bring a stadium truck to complement my 8ights during track time.

I plan on running a mamba max pro and likely will start with CC 4600 1406 or 3800 1410 motors since I have them but it will likely get a Pro4 after a while.

I will read through the thread before posting more. So far I am up to about feb 2012. Man you guys went on forever waiting for this thing to come out....

Cheers...

I tested a gear diff with 5k, 7k and 10k. 10k felt the best to me anything lower than 7k diff's out to easy in the corners.
