This one is a good starting point, it worked great for me.

that is a T4 setup sheet, you can log onto rc10.com and look at setup sheets that fit your track conditions.

I tried to search for gearing specific to my motor but had no luck. I am running a b4.1 RTR brushless. I geared it taller and I am now running a 78 spur with a 23 pinion on the stock motor. What are you guys running on the stock motor on slow to medium tracks?
My motor is only getting up to 105 degrees max after a 6 minute race.

Mine was just like that except i had the stock gearing. Eventually I went up to a 23 pinion and stayed with the 81 spur. It was fast enough for me (me being a beginner) So i left it there. I definitely is a cool running motor for sure.

In stock at rc10.com http://order.aeteam.net/product_deta...?Itemcode=6952 but there are other companies that make something that size you may be able to ask your LHS to get

You can find that wheel nut size if the hobby shop stocks Du-bro hardware. You may even be able to find it at Home Deopt in the fastener section thought I'm not sure if they go quite that small. .

Most hardware stores will have 8-32.

Default Gearing/17.5/T4

Could someone please let me know a reasonable starting point for gearing a T4 for 17.5 class. Speedy is hobbywing 60A (as set by club), motor is open and I will use either H/wing 17.5 non sensored or an Epic duo. I have both of those so I will try them and then decide.
Track has straight about 35/40 yds long with lots of tight corners surface is loose dry but mostly run watered down so grip is pretty good. (good enough to wheel stand easily if slipper is a bit tight)

Thanks in advance
Terry

Home Depot has them. I've been using them for a year now. They are cheap and last a long time.

Has anyone had the problem of having the CVD pin fallout from the CVD in the area right before the rear knuckle?

What tires are you guys using for a clay track?
