I ran for a couple of months in '07, stopped for the first half of this year, and am now racing again. This buggy pushes in the turns like a mofo. Been trying to figure that out. I'm going to change to Cavalieri's 2007 Midwest Offroad Championships setup which sounds like something similar to what you're running.

Question: are Proline Wide 4-rib the totally WRONG tire to run on wet track?

(Wet, hard clay, track. Running 10.5 BL and Lipo)

Yes...when I go to OCRC which seems to be the same stuff you say your running on...the best tire for the b4 at least is a Proline(the narrow one) I forget the part number...but anyways you shove a whole rear buggy foam in that front tire I know it sounds odd but that works the best!! Its just a real pain to glue!

But now im running for Jconcepts and just tried out the Groovy's and wow with the stock foam my car was dialed...they had to much steering so I just put buggy grip on my rear tires and it was the perfect combo!!! Hope that helps.

Also I dont know if it has been covered in this thread but if you dont want to wait for those AE gears to come out...a good gearing for 13.5 in a B4 is to put a 76 Losi gear and slipper pads on and a 32 tooth pinion...works very well and doesnt get over 120 in 7mins(at least with Banzai/Speed Passion Motors)

Cool, good to know. I know the part number for the narrow tires. Gotta mount 'em up!

New AE gears? Didn't know that. I'm running 10.5.

I havent ran ribs for ages on anything... clay bobcats of tapers up front

Here's another brass rear block... this one is $25 shipped from the UK it looks alot nicer than the trishbits one.

Ya...the AE gears are those 72 and 75 that arnt out yet...but I know im getting some when they do....I havnt got to test the 76/32 gearing since next year 13.5 is going to be SuperStock anyways...but I need to incase I go to a track and run mod and need no more power then a 10.5.

Also I dont know what wings you guys are running but I find that the Jconcepts and/or AE 7inch or 6.5inch wings work so much better on EVERY surface and track I have been to! So if your car is skating around in the back end at all but you feel your setup is how you want it...I suggest trying one of the bigger wings...it really does help.

Just be cautious with a big wing on a HUGE jump, it may have a tend to lift off if you know what i mean even on the brakes

Whats the benefit to the Brass rear block?

Sorry if this is a stupid question... I just don't see the benefit other than adding weight in a correct location.

Let me know.

Thanx!

I was running the 76 spur as well just make sure you run the white Kyosho pads on both sides.

With the Losi 76 spur you need the losi pads. All that will be useless info soon anyway. Glad to see Associated get those gears out.

I bought a BUNCH of them in the spring, 10 pair of wheel bearings. I haven't had to replace a wheel bearing yet.

Can anybody identify these shock caps? I bought my B4 from a forum member here on RCTech nearly two years ago and forgot to ask him then what they were.

Anyone?
