Serpent 811E Buggy Thread
#3962
Finished my new 811Be 2.0
Easy build. Good quality, nice fit. All stock using RX8 and a T8 2050kv. Changing from a MP9e to this.
The body fits well but is quite tight. Had to redo the wiring to make it all fit.
Just the decals that come with the kit are not very nice. Not a single "Serpent" decal. Also no Serpent logo or 811 logo
Just "Cobra" but in a ugly font
So ordered a set from Epay which looks much better. Believe from the old 811 or even the nitro 811.

Some one posted something like that a year or so ago. It required moving the speed control up over the servo. Was really wacky and not necessary. There are really no gains to doing it. Way more hassle than the stock tray.

Keep an eye on the wheel hex threads. Had a front and rear strip the threads and throw off the wheel nut within a week of eachother. Front hexes were from last year, but the rears are the new 2.0 conversion and have only been run this summer.
