I'm ready for sure!

Oh, and another thing I noticed this weekend at AMS 4.0, almost every Serpent 811-Be (whether it was a 1.0 or a 2.0), was having problems on the big double rhythm section. If you came up even a couple inches short on a landing and cased it under the rear diff, you immediately flipped head over heels (180°), right onto your lid.. There was zero forgiveness the Serpent's had, when they encountered any shortcomings, or bobbles on the rhythm section. Factory drivers or not.

My assumption was that having the batteries in the rear of the chassis, helped give the car an immediate teeter-totter effect, when they slapped the back of the chassis before the front.. Any other ideas?
I dont recall ever having that problem I thought my car was pretty flawless. I bumped from the C to the B and got 9th in the A main of Pro.

Hi All

Could somebody please tell me where I can find reference on the numbered suspension bracket inserts. I am trying to find out how much toe in I have on the rear using block number 5.

This is the 2.0 version if that matters

Thanks

Brett

^ LOL good luck with that one!! I've been looking for that 4-eva! The only thing I have is a chart that show what values you get when their up or down, but not cross-referenced to the actual 'number' printed on the plastic insert itself to get those values, eghh, soooOO frustrating.

I figure it's not going to help my bad driving, so I just put in whatever so long as their equal left/right... huh, maybe thats why I'm always trying to tune 'out' steering response :smack:

Im assuming youre talking about the 'd' plate (rear most plate). With the holes on the inserts towards the outside, you will have 3.5 degrees of rear toe. putting the holes towards the inside gives you 2.5

OK I will! Many of the other drivers are running 5,5,3 in their diffs (V1 811e with the old diffs) as i understand I should go 2 up on what they recommend with the new diffs?

Thanks again

Actually I was refering to the front plate, but yeah, I've looked at those charts...

I don't know which of the plastic inserts that I'm holding in my hand, that have numbers of the back of them from 0 to 6, match whats on the chart?

The chart has 0, 1, 2, 3. I can see that 0 is center, and 1 and 2 look the same to me, and then 3 is pointed down, so if u turn it, then it points up.

BUT which plastic insert, for example, the ones with a number 4 on the back, refer to which numbers (0, 1, 2, 3) in the chart?

I feel so freggin STOOOPID.. I should just make a video, that would be sooOO hillarious :P

0 1 2 and 3 are for the front of the car, 4 5 and 6 are for the rear of the car.

Has anyone had dramas with their centre drive cvd couplings?
Once I install the pins I get massive amounts of binding.

No, you want to go up about 5k from that setup. id start out with 12k 12k 8k if you can find those though and go from there.

^ this guy right here knows. What im thinking about is using 0123 inserts in the rear, just to have an extra level of adjustment. You wouldnt know the exact toe or antisquat but you could adjust it by feel on the track.
